Life Tips from a Construction Worker: Part Three
While previous life tips from a construction worker focused more on the aspect of safety, such as with eye protection and preventing injury from lifting, did you know that construction workers can teach you how to write a good blog for your company? It’s true!
Put Construction to Paper
Believe it or not, construction workers can teach you the fundamentals of writing a blog just as well as they can teach you the basics of safety.
For example, construction workers learn by doing. Rarely do you see a construction worker on the sidelines reading a book or sitting in a classroom. Instead, construction workers are out there in the trenches, learning as they go and utilizing their experiences in order to problem-solve other obstacles that come their way on a construction site. The same is true when writing a blog. You just need to go out there and write! Learn from your mistakes as you go, and celebrate your success - just like a construction worker.
Also, like a construction worker, a blogger needs to use every tool in their toolbox. Where would a construction worker be without their screwdriver, hammer, drill, etc.? Probably still working on the same construction site from years ago. Tools allow construction workers to get the job done in a more efficient and productive manner. This is just as true for a blogger. A blogger must use all the tools in front of them in order to be successful in their task. Between social media platforms and keywords, bloggers must use those tools in order to be more efficient and productive, too - just like a construction worker!
